Passion to succeed is one of the driving forces that motivate people to succeed in any enterprise. Without passion it’s almost impossible to accomplish any long lasting meaningful result because it is one of the common denominator for achieving extraordinary success.

What is passion?

Passion is the obsessive desire backed by the knowledge of your definite purpose to see to the successful accomplishment of that purpose at any cost.

Passion is what makes some businesses strive while others are stagnated.

Passion for your expectation is what creates the momentum that drives your resolve.

Passion is what makes some people quickly climb the corporate ladder, online marketing ventures, while others stay stagnant and become unhappy.

Passion however, does not stand-alone, it is the understanding of your definite purpose that creates the hunger and desire (passion), which helps to stimulate and maintain tenacity to succeed in that endeavor. Therefore, where and when purpose is identified there comes a passion and determination to succeed.

The importance of the passion to succeed in any enterprise engaged in is invaluable in your overall success. Passion does not come overnight, the first thing to do is discover your purpose and once that happens then go out with passion and determination to achieve it. The next important thing to do is to surround yourself with those individuals that are passionate about their goals and aspirations. This is critical because the passion to succeed is contagious.

Learn all you can and acquire all the information necessary to achieve your objectives. Listen to the best audio books in your field of interest and allow the enthusiasm of the authors inspire and stir your passion to succeed.

Develop An Entrepreneurial Mindset

In the Network Marketing Industry, the failure rate is VERY VERY HIGH. Why? Because Most People (MP) come into the business arena with an employee’s mindset, their mindsets isn’t entrepreneurial trained as far as being in business for yourself. The individuals that come into this industry are Moms and Dads, civil servants and professionals who have never ever owned a business, neither do they possess the skills that is so vital for the day to day running of that business.

Developing an entrepreneurial mindset is so crucial for our industry if you must succeed. Having said that though, having an entrepreneurial mindset should not be dreaded, because of the way it has be mystified. You must developing a passion for learning and acquiring new skills that will be helpful building your business.

What has to happen is to shift from an employee’s paradigm to an entrepreneurial paradigm. Changing your mindsets will be predicated on who you associate with, what you feed your mind and continuous learning. The following elements are to be considered on your quest to developing an entrepreneurial mindset:

Read Books: Read good books. Jim Rohn is quoted as saying: “The books you did not read can not help you.” It is very important that you read books that are related to the subject matter that is of interest to you. Read books that give you new ideas and skills. Read books that tell stories of successful people.

Audio Books: Today it is not so difficult to find an audio book on any subject that is of interest to you. You can listen to these audio materials in your car, while going to work or at home when relaxing. It is said that the average car owner sits in his car 500 to 1,000 hours each year and the conclusion is if you listen to educational materials as you drive from place to place, you can obtain an equivalent of full-time university attendance. Wow!

Attend Course/Seminars: This is one of the ways to bombard your mind with and acquire information on any subject of your interest. It will be impossible not learn something that will change your thinking and turn your life around. This will help to keep your thinking in the right direction.

Keep Good Companies: Form a mastermind alliance of thinkers. These are individuals you can depend on that can affect and influence you positively in the right direction of your goals. You are often influenced by the people around you, for example if you spend time with solution oriented thinkers, this will inevitably help you to be a solution oriented thinker.

There is a great quote from the Bible which says: “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.” This simply means that, you are what you think. Is your thinking solution-oriented or problem-oriented? If you must change your out-look you have to change your in-look. If you have to change your out-formation you have to change your in-formation.

It has been proven, that you attract what you think about the most, that is, your dominating thoughts will eventually reproduce themselves in outward, physical reality. The direction of your life and everything that happens to you is determined by the way you think, by the thoughts taking place in your mind at the moment, positive or negative, constructive or destructive.

The fact is you can change your thinking and as a result change your entire life. You become what you think most of the time and if you don’t like what you are, then change what you think most of the time. Your thoughts are inward but what you focus on outwardly can and will affect your thinking either positively or negatively. You have to focus on those things that are congruent with your desired objectives.

Attitude Determines Altitude

I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do before the clock strikes midnight. I have responsibilities to fulfill today. I am important. My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have.

Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or I can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free.

Today I can feel sad that I don’t have more money or I can be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my purchases wisely and guide me away from waste.

Today I can grumble about my health or I can rejoice that I am alive.

Today I can lament over all that my parents didn’t give me when I was growing up or I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be born.

Today I can cry because roses have thorns or I can celebrate that thorns have roses.

Today I can mourn my lack of friends or I can excitedly embark upon a quest to discover new relationships.

Today I can whine because I have to go to work or I can shout for joy because I have a job to do.

Today I can complain because I have to go to school or eagerly open my mind and fill it with rich new tidbits of knowledge.

Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or I can feel honored because the Lord has provided shelter for my mind, body and soul.

Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped. And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping.

What today will be like is up to me. I get to choose what kind of day I will have!
