Here is a profound inspirational and motivational quote on success motivation and personal development for your empowerment as you navigate through the week.
“Deep in the recesses of every human soul, a mighty power is always at work. It serves as a constant reminder to press onward, achieve more, be more, give more. Until we take the first step toward re- arranging our lifestyle in a more positive way, this mighty power will cause us to be- come as restless as a pregnant woman, held hostage by the piercing pain of intense labour. Giving birth to positive change will not come without shedding old habits, some old friends, old fears, and old ways of thinking. It will not come without tossing and turning, sometimes even crying a river of tears, or perhaps lying awake in the still of the night, staring at the ceiling, praying for answers. Answers will come and positive changes will too. Though often wrapped in struggles and disappointments, torment and rejection, heartaches and pain, sickness and suffering, weeping and wailing…still, they come.” Jacqueline Benjamin Thomas

“If you live long enough, you’ll make mistakes. But if you learn from them, you’ll be a better person. It’s how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit.”
Bill Clinton
Developing a Never Quit Attitude (NQA) is a priceless success power point and it is critical to any endeavor. The unfortunate thing is that most of us have had to learn the hard way one of the most important success power points of all times. It is very important to understand that in any enterprise one must develop a Never Quit Attitude because there will be times in your pursuit that things will not necessarily work your way or meet your expectations. There will be temporary detours in your personal and professionally advancement plus the uncertainty that abounds in our world. Thus, there is a need to develop a Never Quit Attitude so as to find answers and solutions to prevailing circumstance rather than quitting anytime and every time you are confronted with difficult challenges.
My friends, a Never Quit Attitude is not just blind optimism but it is having a sense of confidence that every thing will work out for your good. It is the willingness to seek answers and solutions in moments of despair and disappointments. It is the courage to try one more time when the naysayer says it is impossible. Success is not about never failing but it’s about never quitting. Stay consistent to your goals and objectives no matter how slow things may appear. This is one of the keys to success that great achievers have used to achieve extraordinary results in their field of interest.
It is important to develop a Never Quit Attitude (NQA) as you aspire to fulfill your dreams and goals. Before considering moving from one project to another because of temporary detours, this of course will only create a series of unfulfilled projects that can have a negative effect on you in the final analysis. Napoleon Hill remarked, “Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.” That is well articulated, the rewards of your efforts is not fully released and enjoyed when you quit, examine what works and what does not work and move on.
Winners never quit and Quitters never win. I hope this post will help and inspire you to never give up on your dreams and aspirations

“If you go to work on your goals, your goals will go to work on you. If you go to work on your plan, your plan will go to work on you. Whatever good things we build end up building us.” Jim Rohn
Achieving your personal and professional goals either short or long term involves deciding what exactly you want to do with your life. This is an intricate part in formulating your goal setting strategies. Once you have finished your goal setting exercise you will have to break them into smaller and manageable tasks to be completed as you set out to achieve your objectives. Embark upon your goals once they are in place. Do not procrastinate but rather take action immediately.
Having daily and weekly sets of goals are the best ways to have a manageable list. As a result you will always be in the position of consistently moving towards your ultimate purpose. As everyday will provide you with opportunity, it is of great importance that you also learn to create opportunities that will help facilitate the fulfillment of your goal. This will create a feeling of accomplishment on your part thus motivating you to set more goals.
Here are some indicators that should be taken into consideration in setting goals and achieving them.
Attitude: Attitude plays an important role in setting and achieving your goals. You must ask yourself if there is any part of you or your mind that is holding you back toward the completion of your goals. Do you exhibit actions that are incongruent with your goals or that impair your plans all together? It is imperative to take immediate action to address the situation before it completely sabotages your efforts. Solutions may include developing a positive mental attitude by reading and listening to motivating and uplifting materials, enlisting the help of a coach that can hold you accountable for your actions.
Education: Most of the times we are not adequately equipped to accomplish some of our goals. For instance, starting a work from home business will need some kind of skills and information that one may not necessarily possess right now, however these skills can be acquired through formal or self education. Consequently, we must continually acquire information and expertise through out our lives so as to address new objectives, challenges or demands placed upon us. Jim Rohn remarked, “Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.” Education is a key in achieving your goals. If your goals require that you have a certain kind of prerequisite or specialization or demand the acquisition of certain skills, make it your priority in getting the appropriate formal or self education so as to advance your goals.
Self-Discipline: Self-discipline is often defined as the ability to get yourself to take action regardless of your emotional state. Jim Rohn said, “Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.” It is improbable that you will ever achieve anything worthwhile without self-discipline. It is not enough to have goals but it’s equally important to stay discipline by consistently taking action in spite of the challenges toward bringing those goals to fruition. Brian Tracy articulated in a profound way by saying, “Your ability to develop the habit of self-discipline will contribute more to your success than any other quality of character.”
Financial Situation: Personal financial situation always play a major role in achieving your goals. Have a realistic goal on how much you really want to earn. You also must be able to create plans or strategies by which you will be able to reach your earning potential. It’s of importance that in setting your goals you should also take into consideration your financial capabilities. For instance if your goal is to attend four major ‘Success Empowerment Seminars’ in the next calendar year that will provide you with information and skills that will enhance your intellectual capacity as well as move you in the direction of your anticipated goals thus your financial ramification must be taken into consideration.
To start achieving your lifetime goals, set a quarter of a century plan, then break it down to 5 year plans then break it down again to 1 year plans, then 6 month plans then monthly plans, then weekly, then daily. Then create a to-do list for the day. Always review your plans and prepare for contingencies.

Progress, progress, progress is the name of the game my friends. For, progress, is key to success motivation. Everyone that I know wants to progress and move forward uninhibited in any way possible. It’s unbelievable the level of frustration, unhappiness and dissatisfaction that ensue from the lack of progress either personally or professionally today in our society. It is simply improbable to progress without any definite direction, sense of purpose and crystal clear goals. The development of your potential(s) and the understanding of your unique intent will bring about progress, fulfillment and satisfaction beyond your wildest dream. On the other hand, please understand that there is no fulfillment and satisfaction in stagnation but unhappiness and frustration.
Most people set goals and are fired up to achieving them but too soon all that enthusiasm and motivation dissipate into the ether allowing their dreams and expectation go unfulfilled just for the lack of progress. Is it to lose that unwanted weight, to build a business or to read that book whatever your goal is, to have fulfillment and satisfaction you’ve got to have a way to measure your progress daily and celebrate every inch of it. It is important to measure the progress so as to keep your success motivation at an appreciable level. Undeniably, success is all about, making daily progress congruent with your core values and moving onward and upward toward your desired outcome.
You came into this world with incredible potential(s) surrounded by the possibilities of success, happiness and achievement. You were designed and wired up for forward motion as you harness your innate potential(s) and explore the unending possibilities that abound within and without. Rich DiGirolamo observed, “Belief in yourself, belief in your abilities, will override fear almost every time. The only thing we are afraid of is what we are capable of accomplishing.” Some of the beliefs that you hold have been developed over a period of time because of what you have experienced in the past or your orientation in life. It will be remarkable to discover that some of the beliefs you have embraced encompasses nothing with your present reality but because these are long held beliefs you hold on to them at the expense of your overall wellbeing. This is negating all your efforts to progress toward the attainment of your purpose.
Self-limiting belief is the one single obstacle to any meaningful progress - key to success motivation in any aspect of life. These are beliefs that will hinder your progress and your ability to move forward. Beliefs such as lack of intelligence, creativity, personality, the inability to speak publicly, inability to earn higher income or the inability to achieve your goals and the likes are all enemies of progress. Even if you are setting goals, making plans and taking action, self-limiting beliefs will sabotage your progress and undermine the greatness that lies within you.
Finale
You have to identify the origin of your self-limiting beliefs, change your associations, read and listen to empowering materials, stay away from anything that is toxic to your state of mind and find a mentor who can walk you through some of these detours. Follow these steps to achieve any goal you set for yourself, whether it’s weight loss, health gain, extended longevity, or something else altogether. Remember success is all about progress toward your desired expectation. Begin now and see that you are unstoppable.

Effective goal setting is one of the most important skills and habits you can develop. It is one of the core skills for achieving success in any endeavor and it cannot be emphasized enough. One of the success power points that most extraordinary achievers have used over the years is effective goal setting. Most of the people that I know want to succeed, but to the contrary most of these individuals have not taken the time to think on paper. Effective goal setting is the process of thinking through and putting your thoughts on paper, which is to organize your thoughts in harmony with what you desire to achieve in the coming days, weeks, months and years.
Seven Steps to Goal Setting
Decide exactly what you want in each area of your life. Deciding exactly what you want is critical to your success.
Write it down clearly and specifically
Set deadline for your goal
Make a list of everything you will have to do to achieve your goal
Organize your list into a plan
Take action on your plan immediately
Resolve to do something every day that moves you toward your major goal.
I’m almost certain that you have come across these steps before nonetheless one critical point is not in the knowledge of the steps front to back and back to front but to take action and apply the acquired knowledge, it is then you start producing results.
Objectives to Achieve Goals
Goal achievement requires establishing and achieving several specific objectives, such as adequate family time, financial freedom, starting a business of you own, traveling the world and so forth. Therefore, whatever your objectives are they must:
Be clear, concise and attainable.
Be measurable.
Have a target date for completion.
Be arranged according to priority.
Include responsibility for taking action.
As you establish specific objectives, you create the possibility of reaching your full potential. With your goals in place, let me leave you with this caveat, do not confuse activity with achievement because it is not what you do that counts but how much you get done as you pursue your goals

“Most people struggle with life balance simply because they haven’t paid the price to decide what is really important to them.” Stephen Covey
I came across a thought-provoking article entitled “Are You Too Obsessed with Your Goals?” To begin with, allow me give you this caveat, anything you become obsessed with will not serve your ultimate purpose in the final outcome. The question “Are there times when goal achievement can do more harm than good?” caught my attention in that article that I thought I should share my thoughts for my wonderful readers. Any of your comments on this topic will be greatly appreciated.
To think about it, what use is your goal achievement if it is not congruent with your core values and life’s mission? None I believe in my candid opinion. Goal achievement is meant to do good all the times. It is expected to better your life and not to make your life bitter.
In the example given in that article, a man got divorced three times because his wives kept complaining that he worked all of the time. This implies, that he was working all the time on his goal achievement at the expense of his family. This example is a good example of misplaced priorities when goal achievement is at the expense of things that matter most. Such as family, health and relationship.
The issue is here is not goal achievement but the goals that are not in harmony with one’s core values and life’s mission. It is imperative therefore; to identify what your core values and life’s mission are before setting and pursuing your goals. Your goals should be deliberately set to be in harmony with your core values and to move you in the direction of your life’s mission.
To stress the point once again, it is not goal achievement that does the harm but rather when your goals are not congruent with your core values and life’s mission. Identify your core values, life’s mission and set goals that will move you in that direction and your goal achievement will do you more good that harm all the time.

“When you know what you want, and want it bad enough, you will find a way to get it.” Jim Rohn
What is knowledge? Knowledge is simply the proper application of what you understand. In actual fact you cannot claim to possess knowledge until it has been applied. Mental or head knowledge cannot produce lasting results only when translated into action. Knowledge conveys the information across and it is only through application that it can be turned into achievable outcomes.
Competence in any aspect of life comes from knowledge and skills. Knowledge is a fundamental key for success. It is what you know that can put you on the path to personal and professional success. Success will be elusive without knowledge and can also be greatly enhanced by it. The focus here is not suggesting head or mental knowledge, seeing that there are a lot of individuals with head or mental knowledge and yet far from the shores of success.
For instance, you may have accurate knowledge about the process of goal setting nevertheless, until you apply that knowledge it will not serve the purpose for which it is intended. It is applied knowledge that can guarantee success in the final analysis. It is one thing to have how-to knowledge but that knowledge does nothing for you on its own without taking action.
What you do not know will hurt you and ignorance is not bliss. To stress it further, what you know and do not apply will hurt you gravely. Most people are well knowledgeable about a whole lot of things from personal to professional, or spiritual to physical. The mere acquisition of knowledge will not produce real value on your success journey. The value and the desired outcome are created when you apply what you know.
You can pursue your dream and achieve success if only you can start applying what you know right now and build upon that knowledge as you progress. Let me here from you.
