The Three Ps of a Test
“Without a test there is no testimony, the price of promotion is a test and triumph is inevitable in the face of trials.” Richard Onebamoi
No one is immune against a test. We are all susceptible to various tests in our lives from personal to professional or physical to spiritual or mundane to unusual. Whichever describes your test, acknowledge that it is inevitable. Whenever you go through a test you have to understand few things in order for you to leverage the lessons and learn from the positive and negative experiences that comes as a result of the test.
There are three essential components in a test that I’d like to refer to as 3Ps of a test.
The first P stands for the PLACE of the test:
There is always a location assigned to your test and your ability to recognize the place of your testing gives you an advantage for your next level experience. This is important because the place of your test now serve as a point of reference for the future. That is when you are face up to another test you can always refer to the place of your test and the valuable lessons that you have gleaned from that experience. You are designed specifically for the place of your test and you cannot afford to take anyone there and the error most people commit is that at some point they try so hard to pull other individuals to the place of their testing, which they are not designed for. This ultimately breeds lots of frustrations.
The place of your test is critical because this is where worship becomes a sacrifice, mountains become memorials, bitterness becomes sweetness, and challenges become opportunities. At the place of your test you will discover that loneliness is not just the absence of affection but rather an incubator that gives birth to direction and momentum and you will also understand that the proof of desire (what you really want) is pursuit.
The Second P stands for the PURPOSE of the test:
The purpose-driven individual will endure all adversity in the pursuit of that purpose. According to Dr. Myles Monroe, where the original intent of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. Whenever you encounter a test either personally or professionally you have to determine the purpose for which it is meant to serve. You will be unable to learn valuable lessons that could provided you the opportunities to unlock the power to succeed if you neglecting this element. Finding meaning and objective in all that you are, all that you do and ultimately become is the key to your personal and professional fulfillment.
The Third P stands for the PROVISION of the test:
Within every test come provisions of some kind that will enhance you and enlarge your mental capacities. A provision that leaves you better and not bitter before the test occurred. The nature of the provision can be monetary, informational, a discovery, relational, identification, spiritual awareness or insight. In essence this provision will affect primarily five areas of your life viz:
- Personal
- Family and Relationship
- Financial
- Business and Career
- Health an Energy
Never quit on your test it is part of the process of life. Embrace it and learn from the invaluable lessons it provides, if you learn well you will experience massive improvement and unlock the power to succeed in any enterprise. My prayer and desire for you is that every test of life that you are faced with, it will not leave you incapacitated in any form or shape. Go for it and I will see you at the top.
